SUN 10-30-22 Handgun Familiarization Class I - HFC I
#1 - Handgun Familiarization Class I -- This is a 3+ Hour Training Class.
Shooting will NOT be done in this class but can be scheduled for a "Range Day" to run the courses related to the skill sets taught.

Topics and Training synopsis:
This class is designed for the novice/beginning shooter who is looking for the basic skills to properly and safely handle and use their firearm, magazines, and necessary accessories. Training is completed in a very comfortable educational environment, with simple directions and training information and skills which enhances the students interest and desire to learn and become more comfortable with their personal firearm(s).
Students will go through numerous basics of safe gun handling and use in a manner that engrains the skills that necessary which the attendee can and will use during everyday range practice, daily handling, additional training (other classe are offered by To-Morrow's Weapons), and most importantly in real life applications.
The training will include instruction and adherence to the firearms safety rules and guidelines, and specifically designed so that the training will prepare students for daily firearms handling and use. This set of skills in necesssary for anyone owning a firearm and will prepare the novice student for more detailed and skill oriented classes down the road.
We begin with the rules of firearms safety, move on to proper filling magazines, loading weapons, unloading weapons, along with proper gripping, finger discipline, and firearm loading method(s). We move onto the reinforcement of the fundamentals - stance, grip (timely and proper access, grabbing and drawing the weapon), repetitive presentation to the target with controlled trigger finger AND trigger discipline. We then focus on repetitive use of the proper sight alignment/picture, coordination and practiced breath & trigger control. Most beneficially we focus on follow-through by intent actions of recoil management, and then safely disengaging from the target... among other skills.
This class is scheduled as a three (3) hours focused on instilling proper habits in a class room setting, yet applicable for a students firearms use and competency in the real world.
